Assistive & Adaptive Devices for Activities of Daily Living (ADL) Prescription & Training From Price: SGD 216.00
Assistive and adaptive devices are used by people with physical limitations or disabilities to help them maximize their functional capacity as much as possible. These devices can improve a person’s ability to perform daily activities, increase their mobility and level of function, and thus enable them to continue to live independently at home and in the community.

Common types of assistive and adaptive devices are canes, crutches, walkers, wheelchairs, positioning aids and seating systems. Devices such as grab bars, shower chairs and reaching tools and gadgets, can also make life easier for people in their daily tasks of bathing and dressing.

Our experienced and qualified occupational therapist will conduct an initial assessment. He will then prescribe an appropriate adaptive and assistive device, and train the user to use the device to successfully manage their daily activities.

We recognise that the professionalism and expertise of our therapists are of utmost importance to you. All One Care Zone therapists are qualified in Singapore*. They have a combined 55 years of professional experience and are carefully selected for their compassion and commitment to their profession. We uphold our high standards with strict quality policies and regular quality phone calls to customers or nominated contact persons.
